Dr. Long Huynh

Meet Dr. Long Huynh

Originally from Vietnam, Dr. Long Huynh and his family immigrated to the United States as refugees when he was a young adult. Once here, he faced the challenge of learning English while pursuing his studies. A struggle with stuttering further complicated his academic endeavors, but through great perseverance, Dr. Long became the first and only member of his family to graduate from college.

Speaking a new language posed a professional challenge for him as well. In his early days as a dentist, Dr. Long often had to rely on the help of his dental assistant so that patients could understand his spoken English. Even through the language barrier, he was able to convey his care for his patients, which he discovered was more important than being able to communicate his knowledge with perfect articulation.

Building and maintaining a trusting relationship with his patients is at the center of his practice. When patients come to him with dental work from previous dentists with which they are unsatisfied, Dr. Long is honored to be trusted to make it right. He is passionate about changing the lives of his patients and alleviating their pain and suffering, especially through cosmetic smile makeovers and full-mouth restorations.

In 2013, Dr. Long passed the accreditation examinations with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry to become the only accredited cosmetic dentist in the Naples area. Click here for more information about Dr. Long’s AACD accreditation.

Dr. Long resides in Naples with his wife, Dr. Mai Huynh-Le, their three teenage children, Dawson, Daniel, and Katie, and their two dogs, Echo and Lilo. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing, gardening, and spending time in nature.

Z-Systems Ceramic Implants
Exclusively in Naples from Dr. Long Huynh

The Only FDA Approved 100 % Metal Free Implants, Superior to Titanium Implants in Many Areas:

More natural.

Bones and gums integrate better with zirconium oxide ceramics.

Healthier.

Z-SYSTEMS implants are metal-free, biocompatible, conduct neither heat nor electrical energy, and cause no irritation to the immune system.

More sustainable.

Less plaque accretion than on titanium. This reduces the risk of perimplantitis as well as cardiovascular diseases and strokes.

Stronger.

Ceramic is much stronger than titanium.

More aesthetic.

Thanks to the white material, no gray shadows are visible even with thin or receding gums.

More visible.

Ceramic implants are opaque to X-rays, and easier to recognize in critical situations.

What Is A Dental Implant?

Ceramic Dental Implant Screw Diagram

The implant body or post is the portion of the implant that is inserted into the jawbone. The implant body integrates with the jawbone and becomes the anchor for the new tooth.

Ceramic Dental Implant Abutment Diagram

The implant abutment is the portion of the dental implant inside the crown. Sometimes the abutment is created with the implant body as one piece. Other times, it is separate and attached to the implant with a screw. The abutment shapes the gum tissue and supports the crown.

Ceramic Dental Implant Crown Diagram

The dental implant crown is the portion of the dental implant you see, but if done correctly, no one can tell it is not a natural tooth. The crown is bonded or cemented to the implant abutment and is commonly made of a ceramic or zirconia material because of its naturally white color and strength.
